Expansion Grippers
The force output of an MF gripper depends on several variables-the diameter of the picked object, the surface finishing, friction, and air pressure. The graphs show the extraction force (F) on the gripped object as a function of its diameter (d). Aluminum rings, with roughness Ra=0.8, have been used for the measurements and the grippers supplied with 87 psi compressed air.
